Back After Long Week Away

It has been over a week since my last post due to my Forth of July Week out of town in Suburban Kansas City to visit family.  With my Sister Lea Ann living in Suburban Chicago, me in Las Vegas and my other Sister Jane and my Mom living in Suburban Kansas City, it is tough to get us all in the same place at the same time.

Lea Ann teaches in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, Jane is Retired but keeps busy doing work for her Church and several other great charities and me being retired but I never seem to have any time.  For those still working, let me tell you that being Retired keeps you busier than when working!  ( Whew )

I had a Great Time with family as Lea Ann's Daughter Kristen and her Husband Bart were also there and they are always fun to be around!

Now that Lea Ann's Son Craig and his Wife Kelsey live in Las Vegas, I have been fortunate to see my Entire Family in the past two weeks.

I am Very Blessed!

I wonder, with all the Court Rulings the past few years do we have "More Rights or Less Morality" in our country?

In the past Ten Years we have seen "Same Sex Marriage" approved, additional "LBGT Rights" approved and "Legalized Marijuana Sales" approved in many states.

I feel mine is NOT to Judge, I will leave that for their maker.  Those topics are CLEARLY stated in the Bible!  But on the flip side of that coin I also see a decline of Morality in this country.

I was talking to an 89 year old woman in the airport during my two hour delay coming home, and she had some "Very Firm" views on these topics.  She told me she was a lifelong Democrat but feels the party and former President Obama, had let her down when it comes to Morality Issues.   She reminded me of the day, not that long ago, when you could not even see a woman strip nude in an adult club.  You don't even want to know what she said about Gay Rights and Same Sex Marriage.

I have my views, which I have talked about several times in previous blogs, but again, like Everyone else, they will have to answer questions to their Supreme Maker when the time comes.

I saw today where 60's Heartthrob, Tab Hunter has died at age 86.

He made several "B" movies back in the 60's and in 2015 came out as being Gay.

Over the weekend I saw a group of protesters "Demanding" that all "President's who owned slaves" should be taken out of circulation and replaced with other photos.

I AGREE 100%!  And I think you should purge your wallets NOW of these despicable bills!   And I feel you should take those bills and MAIL TO ME DIRECT to dispose!   Just e-mail me for the address to send.

President Trump nominated Judge Brett Kavanaugh as the New Supreme Court Justice.  Within FIVE MINUTES there were already Protests outside the Supreme Court building and television ads running assassinating his past work and his family.  

Don't the Liberal Democrats realize that for every Resistance against the President they are costing themselves another block of voters in November?  Give it a rest!  Had President Trump nominated JFK I am sure Liberal Democrats would find fault.  
Liberals have NO SENSE Of Reason!  They would SCREAM about Slavery but yet never try to impose THEIR MORALS on Slave or Plantation Owners!   They are In Favor of "Rowe V Wade" but yet they recently agreed that "Life Starts With A Heartbeat In The Womb at One Month".

Quick Blog

I have been a little lax on updating with new blogs as I have been a bit under the weather. 
For those who have not read my blogs the past few years, I had a Massive Stroke four years ago and then another Moderate Stroke following a Major Lung Surgery two years ago which gave me the opportunity to enjoy Hospital Food for Three Long Weeks.  I was NEVER so Happy to be released. 
Through it all I still have Medium Nephropathy on my right side which is more inconvenient than anything.   I do go through some rough weeks where I just feel like doing NOTHING!  ( which I am very good at ... lol )

On to the news.........

I was sad to hear of the passing of Gold and Silver Pawn Shop, which you know from The Pawn Stars, matriarch Richard Harrison Jr., which you know as "The Old Man".

My Wife Sharon and I were invited back to his office at the Pawn Shop a couple years ago where he was actually sleeping.   We have several good friends who have and are working in Executive Positions at the shop.  I could have made money from sites like TMZ with some of the behind the walls things I was privy to but when it comes to things like that I would NEVER Betray Others Trust.  Over the years I have had MANY opportunities with Stars, Athletes and Politicians where I have heard and seen things which could have caused them great embarrassment.   If MORE people held my scruples, Washington would be a better place!

President Trump will soon appoint a new Supreme Court Justice following today's retirement of Justice Kennedy.

Justice Kennedy, who was appointed by President Reagan, but was often the "Swing Vote" on the court.  What will this mean for the New Court?
You can be assured that President Trump will have a Major Fight on his hand as he will surely nominate a Conservative Justice.  This could help bring back civility to our country.  Things like Rowe V Wade, already in peril due to a Democratic Judge who ruled a "Fetus is a Living Person", something which Democratic Party has long held was false.  If Rowe V Wade is voted out, Abortion Clinics would be a thing of the past.  LBTQ Rights may also take a hit, especially "Same Sex Marriage".   For those of us who hold  "Conservative Christian"  values, this could change the court back to a Moral Compass.  This is something which Obama Administration worked to destroy. 

Another Las Vegas resident, Joe Jackson, passed today.  The Father of Michael, had been battling Cancer for over a year.

He was often seen at local casinos, in fact often came into a gift shop which my Wife Sharon Managed.   There was never a bad word spoken about Joe Jackson by anyone I know who had deals with him in the casino. 

Speaking of people being nice...

The Public Harassing of President Trump's Political Appointees has to STOP NOW!  Thanks to California Democratic Representative Maxine Waters this Nonsense has started!

She has encouraged Crowds to Disrupt Meals, Shopping and even go as far as creating mobs at their home!  Does this woman realize that someone could get Hurt or Die at one of these disruptions.  You can look back to my blog after President Trump was elected and you will see that I predicted this type of behavior out of the Liberals!  Do they want a "Civil War"?   Honestly, I think many Liberal Democrats would dance in the streets with joy if a Civil War broke out in America.

There is so much Dis-Information on the entire Immigration Policy.  I will just say this, I personally know several people who live in McCallen, Texas, Ground Zero for much of this children separated from their parents crap.  These are people who live minutes from the detention centers.  DON'T BELIEVE WHAT YOU SEE ON THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA!   Things are BAD at the border!  One rancher set up night vision cameras on his property and had several Mainstream Media by his side.  Over 200 ILLEGALS crossed into the United States the First Night.  Another 250 on the second night.  Do you think that ANY of the video or the story appeared on the news?   NOPE! 

Seems like Immigration Reform is all you see on the news.  What happen to all the headlines and screams from those High School kids in Florida for Gun Control? 

It is the Mainstream Media and Liberal Democrats that try to control what airs every night at 6pm or on Major Cable News Outlets.  The Liberal Democrats YELL LOUDEST about whatever they think will get the most Anti-Trump Airtime!   People these are people YOU ELECTED TO REPRESENT YOU AND YOUR CONCERNS!    All they are talking about today is BLOCKING President Trump from making a Supreme Court Nomination.  Not the border, not immigration, not gun control, not trade, or not the FBI Agent who tried to KEEP TRUMP OUT OF OFFICE!   Watch the news tonight if you think I am not telling the truth.

Did you see where "Fashion Critics" in Europe are complaining that "Bikini's, especially Bikini Bottoms are too small this year?

My feeling is that if you are COMFORTABLE wearing a ting bikini, that is YOUR CHOICE.  I don't care if you are the perfect size one or a size 20!  ( just be sure and send me the photos of you in a bikini ) 

I have a good friend who turned 59 ( Yes, Fifty-Nine) today and she looks better in a bikini than most 20 year old women who work out every day!   ( Happy Birthday JoAnn! )

That reminds me of a story a Police Officer Friend Told Me....

He said A blonde was walking down the street. He was walking the toward her, and he noticed "The lady's right breast was hanging out of her bikini top."   He approached her and said, "Ma'am, do you know your right breast is hanging out of your bikini?" She replied, "Oh Damn. I left the baby on the bus!" 

I also had a friend who was visiting Las Vegas and decided he was going to wear his New Speedo at the pool to draw attention to the ladies.  So we go to pool at Caesar's Palace, both in our Speedo's and he told me he had a "Secret Weapon" to attract the women by putting a potato in his suit!  He went into the changing room and when he came out all the women were paying attention to him but laughing!  I took one look at him and screamed to him,

"Put the potato in the FRONT OF YOUR SUIT!" 


And finally, WHY DO PEOPLE HATE EACH OTHER?

I have said this MANY TIMES and I still don't get it why people do not understand!

Right before I was born, God did NOT ask me if I wanted to be born White, Black, Asian, Catholic, Christian, Jewish or Rich or Poor. ( Trust me, I would have asked to be born rich )

So why hate?  We were "All Created Equal"!  So ACT LIKE IT!   Set a Good Example for others!  If enough of us do, this world will be a better place!

When  will the Liberal Democrats QUIT Resisting and Obstructing and start Co-Operating?

Liberal Democrats want 100% Open Borders.  Why?

So why isn't  Peter Fonda in Prison?   In a Twitter Post Fonda made the remark that someone should "Rape Melania and Barron Trump should be kidnapped and put in a cage with Pedophiles!"
If  he said that about Your Wife and Child you would be at Peter Fonda's Malibu Estate's front gate!   Talk about "White  Privilege"!   Both CNN and Fox News checked the files and there were NEVER such Rude and Illegal threats made against Michelle Obama or their children!  Double Standard by the mainstream media?  What else would you call it?  And he made another Illegal Tweet today!

What Is The Liberal End Game?

I hate to sound  like I NEVER Agree with ANYTHING the Democrats and Liberals say, but

Every day I see the news and I wonder,  "What Is The Democrats And Liberals End Game"?

Is it to Impeach the President?
It takes a 2/3rd Majority in The House and The Senate which Liberals will NEVER achieve!

Are they Trying To Tear The Country Apart?  The  country has Never Seemed So Divided but sooner than later the American People will WAKE UP and see their lives are BETTER now than before President Trump.  Unemployment is at Record Lows, Wagers Are Higher, Business' Are Expanding and for the First Time in Over Fifty Years we have a Real Chance for Peace in North Korea!

If you have a POW or Missing Remains of a Loved One in North Korea for the FIRST TIME you have the chance to have those remains recovered and to gain closure.

So Answer Me Democrats and Liberals, WHAT IS YOUR END GAME?

If it is to Push American's AWAY from EVER Supporting the Democratic Party, you are doing a pretty good job!

Bill  Cosby, the Convicted Sexual Assault Predator will  be Sentenced on September 24th.  Why it is taking so long?  He was found guilty of Sexual  Assault over a Month Ago!  Put him in Prison!

The 80 year old Cosby was  in the news this week as he fired his entire Legal Team.  This Predator actually thought he would be found "Not Guilty" because he was America's Dad.

My second question is, Why Is The Cosby Show still airing on some cable channels?  The Rosanne Show was pulled from the air within 24 hours after her racially charged tweet.  She was WRONG and Convicted in the Court of Public Opinion.  Bill Cosby was Convicted in a Courtroom before a Jury of His Peers.  Double Standard?  Think about it!

A Sad Week For Many

This week we lost two forward thinkers to suicide, Kate Spade and Anthony  Bourdain.

Designer Kate Spade, whose accessories have filled  women's closets for many years  ended her life.   One  thing I found  out about Ms  Spades was she was Married to former Saturday Night Lives' David Spade's  Brother!   A great talent now lost forever.

We also lost Celebrity Chef Anthony Bourdain who ended his life alone in a Paris hotel  room.

Both he and Spade seemed to have the World On A String but their Depression told them otherwise.

Why do people end their own life?  Several years ago  following my  first stroke I found myself prescribed  to a medicine which one of the side effects read "May cause thoughts of suicide".   Honestly, it did and only  through my faith and love of my wife, my family and my friends was I able to make it through the first weeks  of the medicine that allows me mobility.

According to The National Center Of Disease Control just this week released a report that says on the Average Day,  One Hundred Twenty Three people A DAY take their own life in the United States.   If you have a Friend or Family Member that appear to be at the end  of their rope, Say Something, Do  Something!

From Fox News today comes this devastating news, Fox Correspondent Charles Krauthammer , announced  today that he has just weeks  to live.   

The  Pulitzer Prize Winning Journalist and noted  columnist  has been battling  Cancer for over a year and though he had won his battle until a few weeks  ago.  Many do not know he was a  noted Physiologist who had been paralyzed since he was in  college when he dove into a pool head  first and broke his neck.   He called it right down  the middle and will be missed. 

The Stanley Cup Playoffs are now over with The Washington Capitols taking the cup from The Las Vegas Knights.

What many people who do not live here in Las Vegas as I do, the Golden  Knights helped save our city.  They started play just as the Worst Mass Shooting in American History took place back on One October.  They were Las Vegas's Team, which helped this city heal in a very difficult time.   They set Dozens of Records, including to be the first  expansion team to reach the Stanley Cup Finals in their first year of existence.   They drew record crowds with people lining up at 4am to get a seat to see their practice.   Thanks Knights for making a difference in our city.  Even if it did cost me a $50 Win had they won the cup!  


It's Friday, which got me thinking?

Sounds good to me!

I won't bore you with my problems but it has been a Tough Health Week!

Next Week, I have the fun of meeting with a Doctor everyday!  Woo Woo!

Next week is The US Open in golf.  Believe it or not there are people who Actually Think Tiger Woods can win!  Look at the odd here in Las Vegas.

I will not waste my money on a bet on Tiger!   The Good News for Tiger is he has a nice ride to get to the tourney.

Weather he Wins or Yacht!  


My Sister this week paid Big Money to go see the play "Hamilton" for the third or forth time, including once in New York on Broadway.  

SPOILER ALERT:  Arron Burr still dies!   

Personally, I am waiting for the "Real Hamilton" play.

I can see the headlines now, "Hamilton Beats Perry".  (  for those under 30, Google it )

Speaking of Wal-Mart.  I was in my favorite store yesterday and there was a Thirty Something Mother in the store with what appeared  to be her two Daughters.

I have  often believed there  is No Skirt Too Short or No Shorts Too Short!  Well, when I saw this lady and her Daughters, I take back what I  have said.  Who would go out in shorts so short and what Mother would take her Daughters, guessing 12 and 15, out in  public wearing the same?  
I was not sure if she was in the store Buying or SELLING!  

Although, if  you are coming to Las Vegas this weekend you might want to pack those Short Shorts!

Thoughts On Life In General

Every so often I take a few minutes to reflect on Life Itself.  As I look around and see former Co-Workers and others slide into their Golden Years in failing health, it makes me take stock in my life.

It also make me re-evaluate who my friend are and also why should I still consider some of them to be friends?

Unlike many people, I would NEVER Un-Friend a "Real" friend on Facebook or Twitter due to their political views.

I Respect everyone's Right to their own personal views, agree or disagree.  Who is to say if Their Views or My Views are the Correct Ones?

This week has been a Life Changing Week on Twitter.
First there was the Racist Remarks meant to be a joke by Rosanne Barr.

I first met Rosanne Barr in 1985 when she was my Regular Waitress at George McKelvy's Comedy Club in Denver.  Rosanne's Husband at the time, Bill Pentland, was a "House Comedian" at the club who would warm up the crowd for the Headliner.   Bill, was a Great Guy and the perfect warm  up act as he was Funny without getting in the way of the Headliner.   Rosanne, was given the chance to get up on open mike nights and eventually do an eight minute routine each night in addition to her waitress duties.  Her "Domestic Goddess" routine was hilarious!   Then in 1988 she got her big break with her hit television show "Rosanne".   Two years later she Divorced Bill who honestly, I liked Far Better Personally than I ever liked Rosanne!
The Bottom Line with Rosanne and her Hit Television Re-Boot is Rosanne cost over 100 people their jobs with her STUPID RACIST Tweet in the Middle of The Night!  I feel for them and their families as losing her job will not cause Rosanne to miss any meals.

While Disney Entertainment, which owns ABC, ESPN and other Entertainment Outlets, did the Right Thing, many conservatives feel different.

President Trump said he feels ABC Owes him and apology for things the network has made about  him.  This honestly is something I am conflicted about.  While ABC and ESPN have made some Brutal and Un-True about the President, he is a public figure and that is something he should expect.

When it comes to the Rude and Obscene things said by TBS's Samantha Bee, that is an entirely different story!

On her BASIC CABLE Show she said of President Trump's Daughter Ivanka calling her a “Feckless Cunt”.  If you do not know the meaning of "Feckless: it is defined as Weak and Ineffective. 

So why has she NOT BEEN FIRED?  She claimed that she was caught up in the moment, however, she made the Exact Same Remarks in Prior Rehearsals.  In my limited Episodic Television experience, there was always a "Standards and Practices" person on set who  would often require scrips to be changed to meet Accepted Guidelines by the Federal Communication Commission and the Network.  So where was Standards and Practices?   Even Late Night ( after 10pm ) this type of Vulgarity does NOT BELONG on Basic Cable!  

I was Shocked and Very Sad when I read Sally Field's tweet concerning the Rude and Disgusting Samantha Bee remarks about President Trump's Daughter, Ivanka.

I like Samantha Bee a lot, but she is flat wrong to call Ivanka a cunt.

Cunts are powerful, beautiful, nurturing and honest.

I expected Kathy Griffen to support Samantha Bee but Sally Field?  Is Hollywood became So Liberal they have lost their Morals and Good Taste?  I think the answer is clear!

Don't get me wrong, I Believe In Free Speech!

Facebook has said they  are now "Removing offensive stories from their site."  Strange, I still see TONS of Anti-Trump stories and yet I have had Links To My Blog which including Pro-Trump stories REMOVED with no explanation!  Who is in charge?  Obviously someone who in NOT Supportive of President Trump.  That is why I encourage regular readers to Subscribe to my blog ( YES, It Is Free ) so Social Media Censorship will not get in the way of Fairness.

This heat is Offensive!

While it is Hot this week, it will get A LOT HOTTER in the next few months!
