Finally Some Indictments!

FINALLY, we have some Indictments in the On-Going Russian Investigation.  Paul Manafort, was indictment for amoung other things, Money Laundering.

It should be noted, there was NO EVIDENCE of ANY Russian Collusion by The Trump Campaign or the President himself!  This is a LONG way from being over and there may be additional people charged, including Top Democrats, perhaps even Hillary Clinton.

Actor Kevin Spacey, issued an Apology to an actor who claims Spacey "Sexually Harassed" him many years ago.  Spacey, used this opportunity to come out as being Gay, which I don't think really shocked anyone.

What did surprise me was just how quickly many of his friends have came out BLASTING His Behavior ( which is to be expected ) and distancing themselves from the renowned actor.    What is disappointing to me is just how quick your well known friends will turn on you to protect their image.   
Netflix, decided today to Cancel the series, "House Of Cards" which stars Spacey.

What happened to Loyalty and Compassion?

Speaking of Compassion, I have a Dear Friend who just cannot catch a break in life.  She Hates her job, her Finances are in Shambles and her Love Life does NOT Exist!

Here is a woman who is Highly Educated, Has A Professional Degree, A Wonderful Personality, A Great Sense of Humor, ( she can rival mine on a good day) and although I HATE using the One to Ten Rating Scales for someone's looks, I would rate her a SOLID Nine and Pushing a Ten on a good day.    So why can't she find the "Love of Her Life"?  Honestly, I think most men are WEAK and have a hard time accepting anyone who is "Better" than them.  Guys, there is NO SHAME or ISSUE in "Dating Up" or someone you feel is "Way Out Of Your League"!  Love is Love!

I have a good friend who is a Divorce Attorney.   I asked him one day, "Billy, why are Divorces so EXPENSIVE?"

He smiled and said to me, "Because they are WORTH it!"

I feel sometimes it is just your time to die.  A California Couple who survived the Las Vegas mass shooting five weeks ago have met a tragic end.

According to the California State Patrol, the pair died in a fiery crash just three weeks after the shooting.   There was another girl who died a week after the shooting, also in a car crash.

I was in California over the weekend.  I HATE LOS ANGELES TRAFFIC!

It took me AN HOUR to go FIVE MILES on Saturday in Los Angeles.  Where are people going?   Traffic was less congested in Hollywood through the "Tourist Portion" of the city near the Chinese Theater and Jimmy Kimmel Theater.

For those who will ask, No, I did not see Richard Simmons this trip.

But I may end up spending Thanksgiving in Hollywood seeing other friends.  Maybe I can catch up with him that trip?

*     When one of my Ex-Wives told me "The Last thing I want to do is to Hurt you", I should have Realized that Hurting me was STILL on her list!

*     We Never really Grow Up!  We just learn how to Act In Public.  Well, at least Some of us do!

*     Why do people say "Sex is the answer."  Sex is the Question!  The Answer is "Yes"!

*     When I think of the idiot in North Korea I realize that War is Not what determines who is Right!  It actually determines who is Left!

*     Why do we Invite people to our parties that we Honestly hope do not show up?

*     The old saying goes, "Money cannot buy happiness".  True, but it could make life a lot easier to deal with!

Why do those who continue to Resist EVERYTHING President Trump does, do things which HURT the American people?  The President has proposed a Tax Overhaul which will LOWER Taxes for EVERYONE!

This has caused the Stock Market, and Most American's "401K's" Skyrocket!  But the Resistant ( The Democrats ) continue to spread lies and rumors about the President's plan which THEY HAVE NOT EVEN READ!  Why?  To RESIST everything the President does.  President Trump could Cure Cancer and the Democratic Resistance would find a way to Block It to keep the President from success!   Give the man a chance!  The Silent Majority Elected Donald Trump, and the Silent Majority will VOTE OUT any Senator and Congressman who Resists the President.

I was not able to go to any Halloween Parties as I was in California visiting friends.  The Number One costume for the ladies this year?

You guessed it, "Wonder Woman"!  I had a friend dress as Wonder Woman and she looked MUCH BETTER in her homemade costume then this $200 outfit.

A Crazy Few Weeks

It has been a Crazy Few Weeks for me with traveling to Kansas City to visit my family.

This is me with my two Sisters, Jane Pritchett and Lea Ann Pitcher.

And also my Sister Jane and our Mother, Anna Mae Bledsoe

I would have liked to take time to see my many friends in the area, including my Cousin in Springfield, Missouri ( 3 hours away ) and my friends in Warrensburg, Missouri where I attended Central Missouri State University, but time and transportation prohibited me from doing that this trip.

Are you just Sick & Tired of all this Russian Election Interference CRAP?  The press and the Democrats have savagely gone after President Trump for the last ten months, and now it looks like the Democratic Party was behind the Trump Russian Dossier!  

It just needs to STOP so the country can Move On and this administration can get the things done which they promised in their campaign.  

Next up my Wife Sharon and I are heading to Santa Barbara, California to visit one of her oldest friends Gayle.  

She lives in Ohio but is visiting her Favorite Aunt in California.  It is a lot closer for us to see her in California than in Ohio!  Gayle, has been battling about Every Possible Cancer there is for the past couple of years.  It will be good to see her as she realizes that every day on Earth is a Blessing.

And then I am on my way to Southern Nevada to spend four days at a Harrah's Casino event.

Add that to Sharon's Extended trip to Texas and Florida where she will be gone for seven or eight weeks, it is a busy time for both of us.

For all the Doctor Who fans, we are only about six weeks from a New Doctor being "Regenerated".  The next Doctor is a Woman and it will be interesting to see how the story lines change. 

The "Show Runner" ( Producer ) and "Writer" for the past three Doctor's is also changing which should bring the biggest change.  

For those of you who are not familiar with the series, it has been around for over fifty years, originating on the BBC.

It finally happened, Kenny Rogers has RETIRED!

He performed "Islands In The Stream" for the final time Wednesday night in Nashville.   At 79, Kenny said "It was no longer "Put on shows properly", and it was time to hang it up.

Over the years I have met Kenny many times, and even visited him at his ranch in Georgia.

This is perhaps my "Favorite Photo" which includes my "WONE-AM Family" from Dayton, Ohio.  Of all the times I met him, both during his career Highs and Lows, he was always the same Gracious Wonderful Performer.   When I last saw him back in March, his voice betrayed him, however, he was still a Great Entertainer.  I remember once of the first times we met he told me that Barbara Mandrell had gave him some Wonderful Career Advice.  She told him "Always be an Entertainer and Not just a singer.  Singers come and go but Entertainers Last."  Thanks for the Lasting Entertainment over the years Kenny.  Enjoy your retirement.

Happy 70th Birthday to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

She is just hoping to spend it with some close friends.  Her next Birthday she may be spending with her Fellow Inmates depending on the FBI Testimony on how much she was involved with the Russian Smear Dossier.

Bad news for United State Poke Champion, Phil Ivey.  He will NOT get the $10 Million a United Kingdom Casino says he obtained "By Cheating".  

I have spoken to several Professional Poker Players who say the "Technique of Card Edge Sorting" and there has been about a 50/50 split about viewing the procedure as "Cheating" 

But according to the United Kingdom Supreme Court, they have a different view. 

Supreme Court Judge Anthony Hughes said the integrity of Punto Banco baccarat depends on the cards being dealt at random without gamblers knowing their face value.

“What Mr. Ivey did was to stage a carefully planned and executed sting,” he said.

He said Ivey took “positive steps to fix the deck” by tricking the croupier. He said that “is inevitably cheating.”

Ivey, said his winnings were honestly obtained.

“At the time I played I believed that edge-sorting was a legitimate Advantage Play technique. 

He said he pursued the case to Britain’s highest court out of a sense of honor.

“As a professional gambler, my integrity is everything to me,”

The president of Genting Casinos UK, which operates Crockfords, said the ruling “vindicates” the company’s decision not to pay Ivey his baccarat winnings.

Ivey, also has a similar case pending in Atlantic City using the same card sorting.   

Where this ends up is anyone's guess.  Ivey has been mainly absent from United States table the last few years for unexplained reasons.

I am surprised someone has not opened up a pharmacy and named it "Opioids R Us"?

It was just a thought.  Opioid's have become a Worldwide Problem and may touch someone you know.  Something needs to be done.

This is funny because I watched part of the movie "Angry Birds" this morning.

A Few Weekend Thoughts

NASCAR Season is almost over.  For some drivers it was over after the First Race of the season.

Dale Earnhart Junior was done as soon as the season began.  After missing much of last year's races due to a concussion, he announced his retirement midway through this season.  Honestly, I would have been right there with him but Many Fans thought he just played it safe all season.

Someone else who won't be back next season is NASCAR's only female drive, Danicia Patrick.

To say her Entire NASCAR Career was a "Disappointment" would be an Understatement!   I have a friend who was "Enamored" by her looks which made him blind to the fact she has had an Average Finish in her NASCAR Career of 27th Place.   When there are drivers who are "Competitive" each week, NASCAR does Not Need Any Eye Candy!

Are you getting TIRED of all the President Trump bashing?  Some news outlets have made it their Daily Job to Bash and try to Undermine Each and Every thing the President accomplishes.

Since taking office the Stock market has GROWN by 25%, a Number which is Measured in Trillions!  That means your 401k's have gone up, in average, by 25%.  And I am sick and tired of DUMBASS LIBERALS saying "It was all done by President Obama!"  Are you REALLY THAT STUPID?  President Obama has been GONE TEN MONTHS!  Do you think he has been personally putting money in to prop up the Stock Market?   The relaxing of Strict Regulations, which Obama did put it place, and the Optimism of The Country that we FINALLY have a President that will GET SOMETHING DONE is why the Stock Market has grown.  I think the Nancy Pelosi's and other Liberals of the Senate and Congress and going to find themselves joining Hillary saying "What Happened?  Why did I lose?" In the 2018 elections.

I am also VERY TIRED of these people who think it is their personal duty to post on Facebook and Twitter as many Negative, often "Fake News or Opinion Pieces" about President Trump.

You need to remember President Trump was ELECTED Fair & Square!  He is the Leader of the Free World.  You might as well move to Russia or Iran if you want to Hate on our President.  As American's we need to RESPECT THE OFFICE and WHOEVER the Current Occupant may be.  The ones who did NOT vote for President Obama did not post a Daily Constant Berate Stories of Hate Obama stories.   For those who claim there was Daily Stories, look no further than The Harvard Political School or the Yale University Media Departments.  Here are two of the most Liberal Institutions in the country who have done Extensive Studies.   They have also done studies on the So-Called Mainstream Media and have found the Anti Trump stories on the nightly news are 14-1 Anti Trump.  As a country, we need to give President Trump a chance.

I saw Five Posts just this morning where the woman was Bragging on how good her "New Lingerie"  looked on her or how great her "Naked body looks" now that she has lost weight!

I wonder where she lost the weight?


I have been Fighting, and Losing a Battle with a Horrible Cold all week!  After having Phenomenological Phenomena a few years ago spending 21 days in the Hospital and Almost Dying, when I get a cold I cannot shake, I go to the Doctor's Office.   At Seven AM This Morning when they opened, the Doctor's Office was PACKED!

I give my Doctor credit, she spent ten minutes with me and wrote three prescriptions which she told me will make me well by the weekend.   It is a Miracle of Modern Medicine!  Three Prescriptions, which totaled $48, a  $24 Co-Pay for visit and I will be cured by Saturday!  I guess I will let you know on Saturday?


Rumor has it that Mega Movie Star, Tom Cruise, may be planning Wedding # 4 to actress Vanessa Kirby.

The shine on Cruise's career has lost some of it's luster in recent years due to his Scientology Religion and battles with his most notable Ex, Nicole Kidman.  My guess is there still is not a woman in the world who would thrown him out of bed.  ( as well as a few men, lol )

What Scares you most about Halloween?

For me I am most afraid that Christmas is just Eight Weeks away!  I guess I need to start shopping?

There is some Truth to this

Even if it is just paying the Toll for the person behind you or paying for their coffee in the Drive-Thru at McDonalds.  You cannot imagine what it will do for that person's day!

Things I Miss

This has been a week of reflection for me.  I do not know if it is because of the Terrible Shooting here in Las Vegas a week ago or that I have another Birthday in a couple of weeks.  ( I will be 62 on the 21st.)

I was thinking this week of the things I miss.  I miss rushing home from school to see "The Mickey Mouse Club".

Over the years I have had the good fortune of meeting many of the Original Mouseketeers.  Including every boy in America's Favorite, Annette Funicello.

To answer a few questions about Annette, Yes, she was even nicer than her reputation of being wonderful.  And Yes, she was still a Beautiful Woman with a Killer Body that every little boy dreamed about who were wearing Mouse Ears!

I miss getting up early to watch "The Lone Ranger" catch the bad guys each morning before I walked to school.

I met "Tonto" ( Jay Silverheels ) at a Western Convention and the words Nice Guy do not come close to describing how nice of person he was, even when I met him in his later years.

I interviewed Clayton Moore, "The Lone Ranger" himself, via telephone during my Talk Show days in broadcasting.   Honestly, I found him to be a bitter old man who felt he was "Cheated" in Lone Ranger royalties.  Perhaps he was but when you were doing a talk show interview to promote the DVD release of all the episodes, that is NOT a time to be bitter.

Growing up in Hannibal, Missouri, I also spent each afternoon with "Cactus Jim" (Dick Moore)

"Cactus Jim" was a local host of a 30 minute kids show which always reminded you to "Say you prayers and Kink Your Pinkie  Finger" when you drank your Prairie Farms Milk ( the show's sponsor)   Dick passed away earlier this year which was a great loss to many kids childhood, including mine.   You could not have asked for a better person to be a role model for kids.  "Cactus Jim" continued to keep current a Facebook Page right up to his death.  I had several e-mail exchanges with Dick who was proud of his work, his religion and his poetry works which he was a published author.

And no kids childhood would be complete without "Bozo The Clown".

"Bozo", played by many men over the years always had his friend "Cookie The Clown" by his side trying to explain the simple things in life.   And my day would not be the same without watching Bozo pick a kid out of the crowd to play "The Grand Prize Game".

But of course those days are now just memories but I often wonder "What do kids do with their time now?"  So I asked some friends with kids and sadly, almost to a parent, I found their kids were either on their Cell Phone Texting or on the Internet.  Think of the role models they do not have in their lives.  Is this part of the reason that schools have security guards due to violence and more young adult are in prison than ever before?  It makes you wonder.

The shooting tragedy here in Las Vegas brought a "Sadness" over the entire city.  But it also brought neighbors and complete strangers together to realize that the Evil of One Man does not define our city!    We are a city which has over 32 Million Friends from All Over The World come to our city to get away from their sometime boring lives.  A gentleman from the Midwest hand crafted 58 Wooden Crosses and set them up at the Famous Las Vegas sign.

We are a city of Love and our guests this week helped remind us that we depend as much on our tourists than they depend on us!

One of the other stories which "Slipped through the cracks" this week was the passing of Comedian Ralphie May.  He had finished Second on the first season of "Last Comic Standing" back in 2003 which made his career take off. 

He enjoyed a regular gig at Harrah's Resort and Casino for over a year.  He died from Cardiac Arrest at age 45.  He is survived by a wife and two kids.   I guess it was a tough week for God as well and he needed some laughs!

Something else I miss is "Old Las Vegas".  There was a time here a mere forty five or fifty years ago that Las Vegas was owned and ran by Organized Crime, yes, The Mob.

Those were the days that your $100 to $500 Bankroll Meant Something to Casino Bosses.

Those were the days when if you went to see a Las Vegas Headliner, men had to wear a Coat and Toe and the Ladies a nice dress.  My first few visits to Las Vegas you were "Expected" to wear a Coat and Tie to play a Slot Machine!

And you notice there are No Chairs in front of the slots?  It was not until the early seventies when, as rumor has it,  chairs were added when a Mod Boss's Wife complained about having to stand.

Now that "Corporate Owners" are the norm instead of the exception, it has gotten to be more about "The Bottom Line" than the player in most casinos. 

Don't get me wrong, Las Vegas is still the Best Buck for your Vacation Dollar with Major Headliners performing every night.  And don't think you have to spend a lot of money to have a Great Time!  There are so many FREE Attractions for you to enjoy, 24 hours a day!

And lastly, I miss the days when people did NOT Blame the President or the United States Government

For things like
*   The Las Vegas Shooting
*   Hurricanes
*   The Way People Treat Each Other
*   Global Warming
*   Other Countries Political Issues

And On & On & On!

Blaming John F Kennedy for Global Warming or an Evil Gunman who shoots up an Outdoor Concert?

I miss the days BEFORE all the Cable News Channels who Intentionally "Skew" the news to their Political Views? 

All of the things I miss can be summed up in a line from one of my favorite songs.  In her Mega-Hit, "At Seventeen", Janis Ian has a line that says

" It Was Long Ago And Far Away, The World Was Younger Than Today".
